The committee will support different honours subcommittees by guiding policy improvements, conducting regional and sector outreach, and encouraging nominations from underrepresented groups. Its goal is to ensure the UK honours system better reflects modern society and recognises contributions from all across the country—not just high-profile or elite individuals.
