Our new webinar on Supporting Girls Through an Inclusion Lens, will explore how inclusive practices can empower girls to thrive in school, socially and prepare them for life beyond school. This session will delve into the intersecting factors that shape girls’ experiences as well as the links with safeguarding and whole-school culture.
Training topics will include:
- Identify key barriers to inclusion that impact girls’ development and participation across various settings.
- Apply inclusive approaches to support girls’ social, emotional, and academic well-being.
- Develop actionable strategies to create safe, affirming spaces that celebrate the diverse identities and experiences of girls.

Speaker: Rachel Hart, Deputy Head Pastoral, Roedean School
Rachel is currently Deputy Head: Pastoral & DSL at Roedean School in Brighton. She has particular interest and expertise in supporting students experiencing eating disorders and has recently written articles for the Times Educational Supplement (TES) on this area. With extensive pastoral experience in the independent sector and boarding schools, Rachel is passionate about supporting staff to create a consistent and replicable approaches when dealing with mental health and wellbeing, so that all students feel seen, known and heard.
