This session will be led by James Garside, VWV Partner, to explore the recent Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of a woman and what it means in practice in school settings. The webinar will include a Q&A segment, offering delegates the opportunity to seek clarification on aspects of the ruling.

James is a Partner in the Education team at law firm, Veale Wasbrough Vizards, which works with schools and education providers nationwide in the private, public and third sectors.  With over 15 years’ experience in legal practice, James specialises in regulatory law and dispute resolution.  He works extensively with schools and charities on equality law compliance and best practice including, advisory support for senior leaders and managers, claims and complaints handling, policy and contract development, and training and guidance.
